Street Fighter IV Game Review: Street Fighter IV is a fighting video game. It was produced by co-developers, Capcom and Dimps. It was the 1st numbered Street Fighter game, released by Capcom. The "coin operated" arcade game was released on 18th of July, 2008, in Japan with North American arcades importing machines by the month of August. The versions for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were also released on the land of Japan on 12th of February, 2009. The game were sold in stores of North America early as 16th February, with 18th February intended release date. The official European was release on February 20. A Microsoft Windows version of Street Fighter lV was released on 2nd of July, 2009 in Japan, in Europe on July 3, 2009 and on 7th of July, 2009 in the United States of America. A version for iOS has been released on 10th March, 2010. Super Street Fighter IV which is an updated version, was released as a Standalone title in the month April 2010. Street Fighter lV received Universal critical acclaim, receiving high scores from numerous gaming websites and magazines.
Street Fighter lV GamePlay: Producer Yoshinori Ono has introduced Ultra Moves and Focus Attacks in the game. The Focus Attack allows the player to absorb an attack and launch a Counterattack. It is performed by pressing the medium kick and medium punch buttons simultaneously. There are total 2 phases to the attack. In the 1st phase, the game player is shifted into a new stance, by which, he is able to absorb a Single hit from the opponent while the 2nd phase is named as "counterattack". The longer the player holds the kick buttons and medium punch, the more powerful attack will be. Special Moves have introduced in the game such as EX Special Moves and Super Combos. Ultra Combos includes cinematic moves, featuring a lengthy combination of kicks, punches,and other Fighting techniques. There are also a "super combo gauge" and "ultra combo gauge". The Super Combo gauge get filled as the player hits his opponent or he performs a Special Move, while the Revenge Gauge get filled when one gets damage from his opponent.
Street Fighter lV Game's Sales: About three million copies of Street Fighter IV had been sold over worldwide by March 31, 2009 and 3.1 million units by March, 2011. 1.8 million units of Super Street Fighter IV has been sold by December 2011. 1 million copies of 3D Edition of Super Street Fighter IV were sold in the month of April, 2011 and 1.1 million by December 2011. About 6.4 million copies in total of the game were sold out.
