FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction Game Review: FlatOut 3 is the fantastic arcade car racing game. It s the 3rd installment of FlatOut series. The combination of fast paces, online multi-player, lots of environmental destruction, & highly entertaining physics based mini-games produced a unique title. The series is back, under the direction of a different developer, in FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction. The game definitely promises both chaos & destruction.
FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction Game's Graphics: FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction manages to have worse graphics than Ultimate Carnage, that came out 3 years ago. Overall, this entry lacks the crispness which has been seen in previous games of the series, through the overuse of bloom, cars with a soft fuzziness and imbuing all of the tracks. These all do not work well. The models of car are quite poor, especially when they get damaged, lacks crisp textures & decent effects when crashing begins. The repetitive explosion in the game effects become tiresome, & the bland track designs lacks the varied track-side detail of before & are also inundated with inadequately detailed texturing in some cases.
FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction Game's Sound: The game sound was design along the same lines grating, repetitive sound effects & forgettable music accompany the on screen mayhem. A switch to a different developer certainly did not keep the graphical fidelity of the previous versions intact.
FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction Game's Conclusion: Racing games are quite boring without cars, & FlatOut 3 Chaos and Destruction has some, divided into many different classes & rated according to handling, speed, acceleration, and strength. Although I didn't see any noticeable differences between cars in the same class. The players can also automatically tune his car for added pace or strength, further customizing of ride can be done. One major problem for FlatOut 3 Chaos & Destruction is that the cars are not fun to drive at all. The problem is cornering each car in the game, grips the ground at all times, required the player to go really slow or use the handbrake when turning. There is no drifting without manually pressing the handbrake button, & even then it is pretty understated.
