Hoodwink Game Review: Hoodwink is the latest Point & Click adventure game by Malaysian based E-One Studios. Hoodwink is currently available to buy through Origin. E-One Studio was established in the year 2006 in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The development studio has a team of 20+ working away on their PC releases, the 1st of which is Hoodwink.

Hoodwink GamePlay: Hoodwink itself is as you would expect, a point & click adventure game that has a varying difficulty of puzzles, each adding to the story line & taking the player to new parts of Kong Yang. The game has been broken up into four acts, the introduction easing the player into the main character & laying the foundations of the story. Coming from a non-point & click background, I was a little bit surprised that I did not get bored due to the lack of explosions & fatalities. Here, credit goes to E-One for bringing it all together to actually keep me interested with a mix of story line, great voice acting & fantastic visuals. In the game, the puzzles are both fun and head scratchingly difficult at times. Some of them were fairly simple & did not take too much effort, while others I really need a hard struggle to accomplish. In Hoodwink, there is a bit of back & forth between the levels as the player needs to collect things from Saffron & take them to others, but it never got too annoying. In general the player can turn the tips on & it the game will lead the player in the right direction. There are options for eight languages in the settings page including English, Spanish, Russian, Italian, S.Chinese, German, Portuguese & French. The game enables the player to run, but only in certain parts of the game. 

Hoodwink Game Visuals & Audio: This is the thing where the game really stands out. Short & simple, the art style is great. In the game, each level within each act looks gorgeous & fantastic. The other tick comes from the Hoodwink is voice acting. Developers has definitely put a lot effort into this & it shows. In the game, each characters personality really comes across through the voice acting & adds to the games atmosphere. The visuals & audio are stunning.
