Half-Life 2 PC Game Review: Half-Life 2 is a first person shooter game. It has been developed by Valve Corporation. The Valve's Steam software introduced the Source game engine through which the game required the activation code as it's substantial part had been leaked on the internet. Half-Life 2 won "Game Of The Year" award. As the time passes the game was named as " Game Of The Decade" award by a couple of publications. it has won the title of "Game Of The Decade" by Spike Video Games Awards in the year 2012. Till 3rd December, 2008 about 6.5 million copies of the game were sold out at retail. It become the best PC selling game. By 9th of February, 2011 12 million copies of the game were sold out.
Half Life 2 GamePlay: The game has divided into several chapters like its predecessor. Gordan Freeman is the game player. The player begins without any items. A number of enemies will be seen during the game. They can be handled by different tactics. As the player, you can kill most of your enemies by using weapons, exploding bombs that you are given. There will a point come in the game, where you can joined armed soldiers.
Half Life 2 Game's Features: The new thing added in the game is the detailed physics simulation. Environmental puzzles are introduced in the game with mechanical systems. It also involves physical properties such as weight, shape etc. Like in Chapter 3 you will have to stack cinder blocks to climb a wall. The gravity gun which will be required at a particular point, allows the player to draw different objects, through which you will be able manipulate larger and heavier objects. The Gold Package Purchasers of the game were given a CD of Half-Life 2's soundtrack. It was titled as "The Soundtrack of Half-Life 2". It has been contained almost all the music that had been developed in the game. The Soundtrack CD included three bonus tracks. The CD was only available for separate purchase. It could be purchased from the Valve online store. Tracks 15, 16, 18 and 42 were bonus tracks that were exclusive to the soundtrack CD. Many of the tracks were titled again and carried over from the game's predecessor soundtrack. Track 34, 41, and 42 were remixes.Kelly Bailey composed all the tracks that have been listed.
