Euro Truck Simulator 2 Game Review: Euro Truck Simulator II is a vehicle simulator video game and the succeeds to Euro Truck Simulator developed by SCS Software for the PC and was launched in October, 2012. Based in Europe, the gamer can navigate across a map of Europe, witnessing the cities, picking up various cargo packs and delivering them to their destination. From this year, SCS Software is thinking of releasing DLC for this game. With the beginning of this year, SCS Software has announced the Eastern European Expansion version. The game depicts 2 more truck companies not previously available in their official form. These companies are Scania and Renault, while MAN is the 3rd official truck brand portrayed in the prequel. Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Volvo and DAF trucks are featured, but with their names altered(Majestic, DAV, Valiant and Ivedo respectively). Update 1.2.5/1.2.5.1 has DAF XF in its original form. Update 1.3.0/1.3.1 portrays Volvo FH16 and Iveco Stralis in their official forms. In January, twenty thirteen SCS Software announced, in a blog, that a Linux version of Euro Truck Simulator 2012 is now ready for testing. As the game is Europe based, it portrays European truck designs and feature real functioning parts like temperature, low fuel warning, lights gauges, flashing indicators and wipers. The trucks offered are MAN, TGX, Renault, Magnum Scania R-series, Renault Premium, Volvo FH16 etc. Gamers decide their starting city, any city inside in a countries including Italy, Belgium, Austria, , France, Germany, Holland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the UK. In the beginning only starting country is accessible to the gamers. As the gamer delivers the cargo package to more cities or countries, more roads will be unlocked and more cargo packages will be offered for delivery to the gamer. Firstly the player can only accept instant jobs, but as they earns more money points or take loans from banks enough to purchase a truck, the gamer can select what cargo they wish to deliver. The money points loaned or gained can then be utilized for purchasing a new truck, upgrading the current vehicle owned, hiring more drivers, upgrading garages and many more.
