Emergency 2012 The Quest for Peace Game Review: Emergency 2012 The Quest for Peace is the 5th installment of the Emergency series. Released in early January, 2011 in United States and early November, 2010 in Europe for the PC platform. The mentioned series started out in the year 1998 with the game Emergency Fighters for Life. All of the Emergency versions have been built around the same core concept of the player battling incident threatening locations around the World. The paramount objective is given to achieve the synergy as the player combine the skills & tools of 4 types of emergency response units include Paramedics, Police, Firemen, & Engineers in order to overcome anything from a pickpocketing thief, car collisions & suicidal war veterans to huge blazing infernos, and chemical contamination. The game is not meant to be a real world simulation, but it makes an attempt at capturing the urgency & chaos of even the smallest incident. Time is of the essence. A scenario appears, is relatively harmless initially could end up getting out of hand fast if the player isn't vigilant. 

Emergency 2012 Game Modes: There are several modes, in which the player can engage. The game is consist of twelve campaign missions out of the box. These will take the player to locations of the Europe with a main focus on big cities. In the campaign mode the player will hold the responsibility to lead his brave men & women through large scale operations. When he arrives at the scene, the crisis is playing out almost unchecked & with many civilians in danger he will have to come up with the strategy which is required to get as many of them to safety as possible. Quick thinking & the ability to manage individual members of the team is essential to succeed.

Emergency 2012: Multiplayer Game: Emergency 2012 supports multiplayer cooperative play for up to 4 players simultaneously. Multiplayer is the most appealing aspect of Emergency versions. Each player will be asked to select one among the 4 roles usually juggled by one player in singleplayer campaign. The most popular mode in Emergency 2012 is the Challenge mode. If player is skilled enough, a game of the Endless game type will keep going on forever, it's a matter of endurance, but there is always the incentive to achieve a good position on the leaderboards which makes people stay on for that extra mission.
