Sid Meier's Civilization IV was released in between 25th October and 4th November, 2005 in North America and on the land of Europe, and Australia.Warlords was the game's first expansion which was released in North America on 24th of July, 2006 and in the European Union on 28th of July, 2006. Beyond the Sword, the second expansion has released worldwide in between 18th & 30th of July, 2007. By 26 March, 2008 Sid Meier's Civilization IV has sold three million copies according to Take-Two record.

Conquest can be done in 4 ways. The player is provided military items to defeat other civilizations. He has to win through expansion of civilization's culture acroos the whole world.Sid Meier's Civilization IV can be played as a single player campaign by facing one or more computer-controlled opponents. The game can also be played online.
