Quake 2 Game Review: Quake 2 is a shooting video game that has been developed by Id Software. The game was released in the year 1996. It was the first game that become the most popular game of the Quake series video games.
Quake 2 GamePlay: In the single player campaign, the player is to explore the exit of each level by facing various monsters. The player has to explore some of the secret or hidden areas of the game. Before the game starts, there is a set of three options that has been added in the game for the player to choose; easy, medium and difficult level. If the player wants to reach the hidden Nightmare skill level, he must drop through the water and jump into a secret passage before the 4th episode entrance. The single player campaign in the game is divided into four individual episodes, each includes eight levels. As the player collects the items, he can carry them to the next level with him. If the player dies than he will have to start the game from the beginning or the game may be saved also which can be loaded later afer the player dies. As the player completes each episodes, he is sent to the hub Start level, from where he can choose another episode to play. At the end of the game, in 1st to second last level the main objective is to recover the magic rune. After all the runes have been collected, an entrance to the end level get open. The end level contains the final boss based on the Shub-Niggurath God from the Cthulhu Mythos. The designers of Quake have been created a Deathmatch environment that reward skill rather than luck.
