Flyboys Squardon Free Game

Flyboys Squardon Game Review: Flyboys Squardon is a Persistent Online Shooter game. It was developed by Electric Entertainment and published by iEntertainment also known as Interactive Magic. The game was released on 16th of November, 2006. The players are put in the pilot seat of a Nieuport 17 biplane to participate in exciting World War 1 era missions inspired by the Flyboys movie. All the missions provide the excitement of the close-in dogfighting action of America's 1st fighter pilots as depicted in the movie. there are 12 single player missions, and bonus Easter Egg missions, as the player fights for Rankings & Medals for his play skills. The game campaign uses the film as inspiration but it feels a bit flat. All the 12 missions is tightly scripted & will play out nearly the same no matter how many times one play it. The player's degree of success in one mission has no bearing on the player's progress. The player can, simply play the missions in any order he wants. These missions constitute a career or fit within the context of a real war. Instead, the player will simply pop into the air, shoot down a few enemies, & move on to the next forgettable encounter. If the user player the missions in order, the difficulty ramps up quite nicely. The players will progress through a career starting with basic aerial maneuvers & gunnery & ending with balloon busting & one-on-one fights with enemy aces. All the early lessons are fairly straightforward but the difficulty increases with each new accomplishment. There is a progressive difficulty option that will gradually introduce full realism options like G-effects, the collisions & more accurate flight modeling. The mission objectives are a bit too straightforward & simple. As the mission starts, the player is basically just supposed to kill everything user see until he reaches a predetermined limit. Then the player is free to end the mission regardless of his damage state or the presence of enemy fighters. It is a bit awkward to be able to end a mission in success while the player is still got an enemy. Asking the players to get themselves out of danger & land before ending a mission would definitely help prepare players for the merciless competitors found in the online arenas.
