SimCity 2013 Game Review: SimCity 2013 is a city building and urban planning simulation video game. It has been developed by Maxis, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. It has released for Microsoft Windows in early days of March, 2013. It is the 1st major installment in the "SimCity" series since the release of SimCity 4. An OS X version is going to release during Q2 2013. The game is a reboot of the SimCity series. In the game, players can create a settlement that can grow into a City by zoning land for commercial, residential or industrial development, as well as building & maintaining public services, utilities and transport. SimCity utilizes a GlassBox, a new engine, which provides detailed simulation than previous versions. Throughout the game's development, SimCity 2013 received critical acclaim for its new engine & reimagined gameplay. However, publications cautioned its use of a persistent Internet connection, with which it can store saved games and allows the players to share resources. SimCity received positive reviews in prior to release. However, it's launch was met with negative reception as a result of widespread Technical problems related to the mandatory use of Network connection to play & save the game. These issues has included network outages, problems with saving progress & difficulty connecting to the SimCity 2013's servers. As a result, some of the reviewers were unable to review the game, labeling the launch as a "Disaster" and the game as "Unplayably broken", urging the players to avoid purchasing this game until the issues were resolved.

SimCity 2013 GamePlay: SimCity 2013 visual effects including traffic, economic troubles, & pollution are more obvious. There are 2 other new features which have been added in the game, are a multiplayer component and finite resources. The game has non-orthogonal,curved roads & zoning areas that can conform to different road types. Types of zones include residential, industrial and commercial area. Cities in a region are connected  via predefined regional networks such as highways, waterways and railways. Elements including traffic & air pollution are visible flowing between cities. Regional cities can trade Resources between themselves or can also share public services like health care or garbage collection. Cities can pool their collective wealth & resources to build a Great work to provide benefits for the entire region like a massive Solar power plant or an International airport.
