FIFA 13 Football Game Review: FIFA 13 or FIFA Soccer 13 in USA is a recent edition to Electronic Arts well known football FIFA video game series. It was developed by Electronic Arts Canada.A demo of the game was released in September 2012 the demo teams included, A.C. Milan, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Arsenal.The demo was downloaded a by 1.99 million people within a few days. The game was released in mid-2012 in various regions while in Japan in October 2012. The Wii U version was launched alongside the console on its launch day in every region. Lionel Messi was the first player to appear on a FIFA soccer game cover in USA for 10 years. FIFA 13 included latest features to the FIFA franchise like the First Touch Control. New celebrations were also include as a new feature.
FIFA 2013 GamePlay: A new feature added in FIFA 13 is support Kinect for Xbox 360 and PS Move for PlayStation 3. The Wii U version has some exclusive touch-based options including the ability to strike accurately by tapping an image of the target and managing the match.The leagues in FIFA 13 have been acknowledged by Electronic Arts Sports by their website with EA calling it "the most memorable football game on the planet with 30 of the world�s greatest leagues" All leagues from FIFA 12 are here with an addition of the Saudi Professional League for the first time in the history of FIFA series. A total of 46 international football teams in FIFA 13 as stated on the EA website. The Czech Republic and Paraguay are back. Bolivia,India,and Venezuela return to the main series after a decade hiatus since FIFA 2002. Croatia was excluded from international teams.Career mode in FIFA 13 has been updated with the competitors being able to manage an world class team as also a club. Features in transfers like counter-offers and offering a player as well as money are available. In iOS platform the players cannot manage domestic teams and can only offer money to buy players.Fifa Ultimate team or 'FUT' is also an added feature of Fifa 2013. This game mode allows the player to make a team of their own with real life players, which they can then play for cups and divisions over the net. As each game completed players earn money points to spend on team improvements. It is said that at least one scoreboard from ESPN will be seen in the game. An ESPN promo for the intro to the match can also be viewed. There are 69 stadiums in FIFA 13 including real ones like Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane and the Saudi Arabia's King Fahd International Stadium. FC Barcelona's Camp Nou, present in other editions of the game cannot be seen in FIFA 13.
FIFA 2013 Rating: IGN gave FIFA 2013 a score of 9/10. GamesRadar stated FIFA 13 as "a great and turning step for EA's footy juggernaut", but criticized the collision engine because of not being natural and the latest Career Mode as 'unnatural and forceful' along with 4 stars. GameSpot gave FIFA 2013 game a 8 out of 10 appreciating the latest skill games, but criticizing the lack of improvement as compared to FIFA 12. According to OXM the biggest drawbacks of FIFA 2012 were for the most part took to task in FIFA 13. PC Gamer gave the Microsoft Windows version of the game a 86 out of 100 points.
